King Bowser Koopa Guest. It seems to me that Rams do an initial amount of damage to the enemies Walls prior to combat, then all the units attack vs defense are measured, units die, and then at the end, if there are any Rams left, they do more damage I believe it works something like that.

The how is over rated only if you wanted to get an equation to figure it out do you need it and well they give you the simulator which does the equation for you.
